Volkswagen is pleased to announce that Volkswagen Junior Masters
Australia will be held on 5th - 6th October 2013 at the Sydney Academy
of Sport in Narrabeen, New South Wales.
2013 marks the second Volkswagen Junior Masters Australia tournament
following on from the inaugural event in 2011 won by Western Australian
side ECU Joondalup. We have already received nominations from teams
across Australia, eager to prove that they have what it takes to compete
at Volkswagen Junior Masters Australia and be crowned our champions.
We
are also excited to announce that we are offering all teams who
nominate before 6th May the opportunity to train with a former Socceroo.
Every
team that nominates by 6th May 2013 will go in the running to win a
training session hosted by Mark Robertson, former Socceroo and founder
of the Mr Soccer Academy, at their own training ground. This training
session will allow players to get a unique insight from a player who has
performed at the highest level.

Volkswagen Junior Masters Roadshow wraps up in Perth
July 25
Saturday 21st July was the final stop on the Volkswagen Junior Masters Roadshow. Perth was the culmination of five weeks of football talent spread across five states.
12 teams from across Western Australia competed at ECU Joondalup’s homeground, our 2011 Volkswagen Junior Masters Australia champions, for the chance to gain automatic qualification into the 2013 national tournament.
As has been the case with our other roadshows the talent on display was of high quality but at the end of our round robin stage we were left with four semi-finalists – Westfield FC, Balcatta FC, Rockingham City and ECU Joondalup. This was whittled down to Balcatta FC vs Westfield FC in our final.
The final match of the 2012 Volkswagen Junior Masters Roadshow was taken out by Balcatta FC, joining our other state champions:
Pine Hills FC
Fairfield Hotspur
Spring Hills
Adelaide Raiders
If you think your team has what it takes to compete in the 2013 Volkswagen Junior Masters Australia, nominations open on August 1.
Volkswagen Junior Masters Roadshow arrives in Adelaide
July 16
Saturday 14th July saw Adelaide play host to 17 teams competing in the 2012 Volkswagen Junior Masters Roadshow for South Australia. Despite wet and blustery conditions the level of skill on display was impressive and each team should be proud of the quality of football they produced.
The group stages of the South Australian Roadshow were the closest of any event to date, with each group being decided by the final matchup of the round. In the end our semi-finals were contested by WT Birkalla, Cumberland United, Adelaide Raiders and Adelaide Comets.
In the first semi-final Adelaide Raiders won comfortably with a 5-1 scoreline, whilst in the other semi-final WT Birkalla had to fight hard to hold off a surging Cumberland United to win 1-0. In the final Raiders ran out to an early one goal lead before clinching the victory with a second goal with only minutes remaining.
As South Australian champions, Adelaide Raiders will have automatic qualification for the 2013 Volkswagen Junior Masters Australia tournament in October next year. They will be joined by Roadshow winners from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.
If your team would like to take part in the tournament, nominations open on August 1. To stay up to date on all things Volkswagen Junior Masters please feel free to register your interest on the home page.
